C.R.A.F.T Challenge 47 - Pink & Brown

This week at C.R.A.F.T the challenge is to use the colours pink and brown.

We're being sponsored this week by Stitchy Bear Stamps, they sell a huge range of digi stamps and other printables by different artists, and the C.R.A.F.T design team got to use four of their images, all of which are the prize this week.

For my card I used Spaniel Puppy by Stampin Dragon.

I coloured the image with pencils, the papers are My Mind's Eye and Funky Hand, the sentiment and pawprints are stamped and I Cuttlebug embossed the brown background card. fot the flowers I punched out the outer petals, and for the centres I cut circles from brown paper, scrunched them up, opened them out and dabbed them with ink.

To see the images that are this week's prize, go over to C.R.A.F.T and see the lovely cards that the rest of the DT have made.

I'd like to enter this card in these 2 challenges:

A Couple Of Birthday Cards & Allsorts Challenge

Here's a couple of birthday cards I've just made.

The first one I'm entering into the Allsorts Challenge where the theme this week is 'Just For Men.'

The guitar I made using a template from Anna Marie Designs. For the main body of the guitar I used wood grain effect paper from Polkadoodles Not For Girls CD, with a bit of doodling around the sound hole. The strings are hemp, and I used silver gel pen for the frets and markers on the neck.

I found the music score on the internet and printed it onto vellum, tore round the edges and attached it with brads to brick patterned paper, also from the Not For Girls CD. The musical notes square is also from the same CD.

A few brads to hold the strings in place and finally I added a real plectrum to finish it off.

My second card was quick and easy, using the Jayne Netley Mayhew Collection Part 2 CD from Joanna Sheen.
