C.R.A.F.T Challenge 22

This week the theme at C.R.A.F.T challenge is anniversary, and for my DT card I have used The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady CD from Joanna Sheen. For the card base I used plain cream card, inked round the edges with robin's egg blue ink. I printed the backing paper on ice diamond lustre paper, although this hasn't shown up on the photo. The sentiment I printed off the computer, the flowers I embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and inked round the edges.

This week our sponsor is Craft Obsessions who are offering 6 Promarkers of your choice as this week's prize.

C.R.A.F.T Challenge 21 - a recipe

This week's challenge at C.R.A.F.T is to follow a recipe, 1 ribbon, 2 buttons and 3 papers. Most of us on the DT have used digi images from Willow Designs, who is our sponsor this week.

For my DT card I've used 'Dear Santa', I've coloured the image in with pencils and added glitter and flowersoft. The trees backing paper and sentiment is from Polkadoodle's Jingle Jangle Christmas CD, printed on pearl paper, although this hasn't shown up in the photo. The backing paper I made the flowers from is also from Jingle Jangle Christmas and embossed with the cuttlebug swiss dots folder and glitter added, with buttons tied with wool.

The prize this week from Willow Designs is the 3 Christmas owls digi stamps that have been used this week by the DT. Go and have a look and see the lovely creations the rest of the DT have made, and we look forward to seeing what you make too!

C.R.A.F.T Challenge 20

The challenge at C.R.A.F.T this week is to create something using this picture for inspiration, thanks to Suzi from the DT for coming up with this:

and this is my DT card:The background is cuttlebug embossed and the raised bits inked with magenta and green ink.

For the flower I cut out a flower shape then embossed it using part of the cuttlebug Floral Fantasy folder, and rubbed green ink over it. Finally I added garden twine with buttons threaded through it.

The prize this week is kindly donated by Claire, some mini brads, Basic Grey papers, a few sheets of hand coloured leather and some lovely handmade stickers:

I am also entering this card in another challenge - By the Cute & Girly - it's a new monthly challenge blog that's just started, and their first theme is "Autumn Glory".
