Baby Boy Card

A card for a baby boy, the gingham papers are from Polkadoodle's Sugar Birdies CD,

I knitted the little boottee and tied a button with wool to the centre.  I also used card candi, organza ribbon and Spellbinders dies for the scalloped ovals.

Chill Out John

A card for a friend's birthday, using a photo of Jinx, our very chilled out greyhound!

I printed the photo onto glossy photo paper, the backing papers are My Mind's Eye Bloom & Grow, the wording is computer generated and I added card candi and garden twine.

Butterfly Anniversary Card

 Image and papers are from the Jane Shasky CD from the heart of the garden.

 I also used a Spellbinders dies, organza ribbon, Prima flowers, card candi and butterfly embossing folder.

Rock Star Card

Backing papers and images from Debbi Moore's Chabby Chic Music CD.

I embossed the stars and main image with the Cuttlebug spots folder, and added blue garden twine.

Millefiori Stitch Markers

I made these stitch markers with glass millefiori beads, faceted glass beads and tiny seed beads.  The findings are antique black plated.

More Mother's Day Cards

A couple more Mother's Day cards I had orders for.  This one using papers and image from the Yesterday's Memories CD from Ooh La La Creations.

I also used Spellbinders dies for the hearts, Marrianne die for the butterflies, organza ribbon, Cuttlebug

script embossing folder a doyley and sticky pearls.

My second card has an image from the same CD as the first card, and the backing paper is from Debbi Moore's Victorian Botanical CD.  Other things I used are butterfly Spellbinders die, die cut butterflies, doyley, organza ribbon and card candi.

Mother's Day Cards

A couple of mother's day cards using papers and images from the Yesterday's Memories CD from Ooh La La Creations.

I also used Spellbinders dies, punched and scrunched up flowers, card candi, die cut swirls, butterfly punch,Marianne butterfly die and organza ribbon.

Black Cats & Spiders Stitch Markers

Stitch markers for knitting, glass black cat and glass spider beads, rocaille and faceted glass beads, and silver plated findings.

Knitted Flower Brooch

Knitted with Rowan Felted Tweed Aran, pattern from 100 Flowers to Knit and Crochet by Leslie Stanfield, with a button added from my stash.

Needle Felted Flowers

A couple of flowers I made using my Simplicity felting machine....

This one is made from merino wool tops, felted with the machine onto green felt, the flower shapes are die cut on my Cuttlebug and felted together on the machine with some wool in the centre.

I made this with a needle felting pack from Claire's ebay store , a gorgeous mix of hand dyed felt, merino tops and wool fibres in a gorgeous mix of colours, really soft and lovely to use.  I hand cut the purple layer and the two upper brown layers are die cut on my Cuttlebug, with a wooden button added to the centre.

Moon Girl & Bird Card

A card for a friend's birthday, the background is watercolour paper painted with watercolour paints and a few coats of H2Os on top, & embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.

The bird and butterflies are also watercolour paper, painted with H2Os and die cut, with a tiny bead for the bird's eye.  The sentiment is printed on a Dymo machine.

90th Birthday Card

A card for a 90 year old man who loves gardening.  The image, sentiment and backing papers are from a Jane Shasky CD from Joanna Sheen.  I stamped the numbers onto a piece of the backing paper, heat embossed them and cut them out with a Spellbinders die.

The flowers are punched, scrunched up with card candi added, the leaves are stamped and cut out.

A Couple of Valentine's Cards

Made this card for a neighbour to give to her husband using papers and image from the Furry Friends CD from Joanna Sheen.

I stuck the image onto some Bazzill card cut out with a Spellbinders die and embossed with a Cuttlebug folder, the hearts are also a Spellbinders die, and I added some card candi to the bottom right corner.

The backing paper for this one is from Funky Hand's I Heart You download, the large pink heart is cut with a Spellbinders die embossed with the Cuttlebug script folder,

 I knitted the hearts and tied buttons to the centre with hemp twine, and added some garden twine and printed the sentiment on a Dymo machine.

Silver Bird Earrings

I made these earrings for the friend who I made the card for in my last post, made from Tibetan silver birds, tiny seed beads and sterling silver beads and earwires.

Moon Girl Birthday Card

Made this for a friend's 50th birthday.  The papers are from a magazine,

the butterflies are a Marrianne die with glitter added, the letters are grungeboard which I painted with a few layers of H2Os.

I stamped Moon Girl onto pink card and added glitter to her wings, the branch she's sitting on is die cut and painted with H2Os, and the large flower is a Sizzix die.

 The box for the card to go in, also using free papers from a magazine with die cut butterflies and grungeboard letters.

Bird Happy Birthday

A birthday card for a friend, the backing paper is from Tinker & Co, the bird is a Sizzix die cut from recycled packaging, inked with a brown ink pad.  I printed the wording on the computer and cut it out with a Spellbinders die.

 The flower and bird's wing are die cut from a free magazine from a supermarket, with some raffia for the flower stem and a button attached with twine, on a panel of card embossed with the Cuttlebug birds & swirls folder, I finally added cream organza ribbon along the side.  

Wedding Card & Congratulations

It's a terrible photo as the light was fading, but the papers are from Funky Hand's I Do download, I also used Spellbinders dies, organza ribbon, sticky gems and punched out butterfly.

This card was for a prize winning dog! Samoyed image from craftsuprint, paw print paper from Joanna Sheen's Furry Friends CD, with the addition of organza ribbon, Spellbinders die and card candi.

Flowery Birthday Cards

I made these using a Jayne Netley Mayhew CD from Joanna Sheen.

The butterflies are a Sizzix die with card candi added to the centres.

Ginger Cat Card

I made this card for a friend's birthday, the papers and image are from a Jayne Netley Mayhew CD from Joanna Sheen, the pics aren't too good as the light was fading when I took them.

I matted the image onto some bazzill cardstock and just added a scrunched flower, card candi, organza ribbon and a stamped sentiment.
