C.R.A.F.T Challenge 23

This week the challenge at C.R.A.F.T is Halloween, or an alternative theme of orange and black, and for my DT entry I have knitted a witch and a cat finger puppets.

C.R.A.F.T Challenge 22

This week the theme at C.R.A.F.T challenge is anniversary, and for my DT card I have used The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady CD from Joanna Sheen. For the card base I used plain cream card, inked round the edges with robin's egg blue ink. I printed the backing paper on ice diamond lustre paper, although this hasn't shown up on the photo. The sentiment I printed off the computer, the flowers I embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and inked round the edges.

Harvest Mouse Card - Tuesday Taggers

The challenge this week at Tuesday Taggers is to create something using this lovely Harvest Mouse image which they are giving away for free, designed by Teri, one of their DT. You can visit Teri's shop, Delicious Doodles, here.




For my card I have used backing paper from The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady CD, printed onto ice diamond lustre paper. I embossed the flower and the card behind the mouse with the cuttlebug daisy folder. The leaves are Quickcutz die cuts coloured with twinkling H2os. The mouse I coloured with pencils.

C.R.A.F.T Challenge 21 - a recipe

This week's challenge at C.R.A.F.T is to follow a recipe, 1 ribbon, 2 buttons and 3 papers. Most of us on the DT have used digi images from Willow Designs, who is our sponsor this week.


For my DT card I've used 'Dear Santa', I've coloured the image in with pencils and added glitter and flowersoft. The trees backing paper and sentiment is from Polkadoodle's Jingle Jangle Christmas CD, printed on pearl paper, although this hasn't shown up in the photo. The backing paper I made the flowers from is also from Jingle Jangle Christmas and embossed with the cuttlebug swiss dots folder and glitter added, with buttons tied with wool.




The prize this week from Willow Designs is the 3 Christmas owls digi stamps that have been used this week by the DT. Go and have a look and see the lovely creations the rest of the DT have made, and we look forward to seeing what you make too!

C.R.A.F.T Challenge 20

The challenge at C.R.A.F.T this week is to create something using this picture for inspiration, thanks to Suzi from the DT for coming up with this:

and this is my DT card:The background is cuttlebug embossed and the raised bits inked with magenta and green ink.


For the flower I cut out a flower shape then embossed it using part of the cuttlebug Floral Fantasy folder, and rubbed green ink over it. Finally I added garden twine with buttons threaded through it.

The prize this week is kindly donated by Claire, some mini brads, Basic Grey papers, a few sheets of hand coloured leather and some lovely handmade stickers:

C.R.A.F.T Challenge 19

The challenge this week at C.R.A.F.T is to follow this sketch:


The prize this week is being kindly donated by Jenni, she has her own range of lovely digi and polymer stamps and they can be found in her Etsy shop here.

This is what you could win, any two stamps of your choice in clear polymer, or the complete range of stamps in the form of digi images.
This week all of us on the DT have used one of Jenni's images, and for my card I have used the Sweet Snowbaby.
I've used turquoise pearl card for the card base, backing paper is Funky Hand's Funky Daze CD, the flowers are stamped and heat embossed, sentiment from Polkadoodles Jingle Jangle Christmas CD, I coloured Snowbaby with pencils and added some glitter, and added some ribbon.

C.R.A.F.T Challenge 18

This week the challenge at C.R.A.F.T is to use no backing paper, and for my Design Team card I have used a digi stamp from Doodle Palace called Seana and Scamp.


On the light green card behind the image I used the new cuttlebug daisy embossing folder. I coloured the squirrels with pencil crayons and added a bit of glitter .
The flowers are stamped, heat embossed and cut out with sticky pearls added to the middle. The smaller flowers are punched out.

Fingerless Mitten Gloves

I made these for a friend for her birthday, a pair of fingerless gloves with an attached mitten flap that can be pulled on or off.

I got the pattern from a book called Knitted Accessories by Claire Crompton. The wool I used is Sirdar Donegal Tweed double knitting.

C.R.A.F.T Challenge 16

This week the challenge at C.R.A.F.T is to make a card for a child with a removable object, and for my DT entry I have made a card with a teddy bear.


All the papers are from Polkadoodle's Sugar Birdies and Candy Doodles CDs, and the teddy is knitted in 4 ply alpaca wool.
The prize this week is any 5 digi stamps from Claire's shop, Hope Jacare at Shop Handmade.
