A tea cosy I knitted for a friend for Christmas. The pattern came from a book called
Tea Cozies 2. A few years ago
Knitting magazine held a tea cosy designing competition and this book is a compilation of some of the entries they had.
The cosy was designed by Sheila Woolrich, I knitted the main part of the cosy in
Stylecraft Life double knitting wool, using one strand of cream and one strand of pebble.
Everything else is double knitting wool from my stash. The small yellow flowers are crocheted with crochet chains for the stems.
The large purple flower is also crocheted with one of the smaller flowers in the centre, the leaves are knitted.
