Spring Tea Cosy

Here's a tea cosy I knit a couple of years ago.

The cosy was knit using two strands of double knitting wool to make it nice and thick, the pattern is from this book.

The flowers are knit in double knitting wool, and are from the book 100 Flowers to Knit and Crochet by Lesley Stanfield.

Knitted Flower Brooches

A couple of knitted flower brooches I've just finished.

I knitted this one in aran wool, and the stamens in double knitting wool, the pattern is by Lucinda Ganderton and was in Let's get Crafting magazine.

This one was knit in Sirdar Cossack chunky wool for the main flower, and Hayfield Grampian chunky for the leaves.

I'd like to enter these into the following challenges:

June Garden Photos

Some photos taken in our garden during June.

Frogs basking in the sun.......

Tadpoles tucking into bread....

Roses and Foxglove....

A Blackbird sunning himself on the hedge in our front garden....

We found this tiny sleeping baby hedgehog on the garden path, we think he might have been disturbed by one of our dogs, so we put him somewhere safe at the bottom of the garden, and an hour later had gone, probably made his way back to his original place where he'd been sleeping.

A strawberry flower.........

Corncockle......

Ox-eye daisies.....

And some rosehips :-)
