Doll For Macmillan Cancer Support

The knitting club I go to held a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support last Saturday,and my sister and I knit some clothes for a doll, she was in a 'Name the Doll' competition.

My sister knitted the coat, and I made the rest of the clothes.

The flowers on the bag are from Polkadoodles Sugar Birdies CD.

C.R.A.F.T Challenge 69 - Teenagers

This week at C.R.A.F.T we want you to create something with teenagers in mind, our sponsor is Angela from Toucan Scraps, and the prize is a product of your choice from her store at Stitchy Bear Stamps.

Angela kindly provided the DT with her new City Street digi papers to use in our sample projects.

For my card I've used Angela's papers with an image from Polkadoodle's Back to Nature CD.

Some More Stitch Markers.....

A few sets of stitch markers I made this afternoon.


Autumn Berries stitch markers, made from acrylic berry beads, faceted glass beads, tiny seed beads and silver plated findings.



Flower stitch markers, made from glass beads and silver plated findings.


Seaside stitch markers, made from acrylic sea life beads, gold plated beads, glass beads and gold plated findings.

C.R.A.F.T Challenge 67 Colour Palette

This week at C.R.A.F.T we are using a colour palette which has been made by our DT member Ei, (Eiglas). it's called 'Ada's Slave':


There are some lovely papers, made by Ei, for you to use if you would like to, go over to C.R.A.F.T for more details.

Our sponsor this week is Sew Many Digital Stamps, who have kindly given the DT some images from their store for us to use in our sample projects. They sell a huge range of digital stamps for all ocassions, and the prize is 5 digital stamps of the winner's choice from their store.

For my DT card I have used 'Bear with Balloons'. I have coloured the image with Promarkers and Sakura pens. The backing paper is 'Tartan' from the 'Ada's Slave' collection.


The scalloped oval I embossed with the Cuttlebug Christmas Stars folder and inked with blue ink.


This week we say goodbye to Ei, it's been lovely working with her and we'll miss her loads but wish her the best of luck in everything she does in the future.

C.R.A.F.T Challenge Man's Best Friend

This week the challenge at C.R.A.F.T is Man's Best Friend. Our sponsor is Lauretta's Digital Stamps who kindly provided the DT with two images to use in our sample cards.


For my card I used Lauretta's image Scotty Dog, I coloured him with pencils and sakura pens.

The backing paper is Dovecraft's Funky Vintage, the lettering is from Polkadoodles Candy Doodles CD, and the sentiment is from Funky Hand. I knit the flower and added a little shell flower button to the centre.
