C.R.A.F.T Challenge 47 - Pink & Brown

This week at C.R.A.F.T the challenge is to use the colours pink and brown.

We're being sponsored this week by Stitchy Bear Stamps, they sell a huge range of digi stamps and other printables by different artists, and the C.R.A.F.T design team got to use four of their images, all of which are the prize this week.

For my card I used Spaniel Puppy by Stampin Dragon.

I coloured the image with pencils, the papers are My Mind's Eye and Funky Hand, the sentiment and pawprints are stamped and I Cuttlebug embossed the brown background card. fot the flowers I punched out the outer petals, and for the centres I cut circles from brown paper, scrunched them up, opened them out and dabbed them with ink.

To see the images that are this week's prize, go over to C.R.A.F.T and see the lovely cards that the rest of the DT have made.

I'd like to enter this card in these 2 challenges:

Polkadoodles - Animal Magic

Crafty Creations - Distressing

This week at C.R.A.F.T challenge we want you to work with this sketch, thought up by our DT member Ei:

And here's what you could win, this lovely stack of papers - Cosmo Cricket - Mini Deck - Garden Variety:
Here's my DT card, the pink backing paper and the paper I cut the bird out of is from Funky Hand's Funky Daze CD, and the paper I made the triangle out of is from their Shabby Saturday collection. I machine stitched around the edge and added a bow made from garden raffia.

For more inspiration go over to the C.R.A.F.T challenge blog and see the lovely projects the rest of the DT have made with the sketch!

C.R.A.F.T Challenge 45 - Buttons

This week at C.R.A.F.T challenge you can make anything you like as long as it has buttons on it, and our sponsor is our DT member Claire - and the prize is this lovely collection of buttons:

You can find Claire's lovely digi images at Hope Jacare Doodles at Stitchy Bear Stamps.

For my card this week I've made a fabric flower, using a template from Craftbugs, I ironed some interfacing onto it to strengthen it and stitched a felt backing onto it.

I used 14 count cream aida for the backing, stitched the flower stems and cross stitched round the edge onto blue card, and added the button flowers and button sun.

Look forward to visiting your blogs and seeing your button creations this week!

C.R.A.F.T Challenge 44 - Purple and Turquoise

This week's challenge at C.R.A.F.T is to use the colours purple and turquoise in your projects.

Our sponsor this week is Donna's Den, who are offering this set of rubber stamps as the prize:

Donna's Den sell a wide range of crafting goodies in their online shop, backing papers, embellishments, stamps and loads more!

For my DT card I have used watercolour paper and painted it with turquoise watercolour paint, and partly embossed it on my cuttlebug, I got the inspiration for doing this fron The Digi Shack.

On the side of the paper I didn't emboss I stamped 3 flowers, then used the same stamp to make three more flowers, this time I heat embossed them, cut them out and secured them to the watercolour paper with brads. The butterfly is cuttlebug die cut again using painted watercolour paper, finally adding sticky turquoise gems to the centre.

I'm entering this into the Quirky Crafts Challenge which is Flowers, thanks Lyn for telling me about this!
